AUTHORITY

The 15th   Carrom Euro Cup 2011 will be organized by “Fédération Française de Carrom” under the authority granted by the European Carrom Confederation.

ELIGIBILITY

The 15th Carrom Euro Cup 2011 is open to the Registered Players of the member Federations/Associations affiliated to the European Carrom Confederation.
Special invitees from other nations may be permitted to take part in the events with the approval of the European Carrom Confederation.

PARTICIPATION FEES

Participation fees for the 15th Carrom Euro Cup 2011 would be as follows;
Players and friends: 240 € / person.
The participation fee includes all events, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner from Thursday dinner to Monday breakfast.
Each National Federation/Association may remit the participation fee, payable as mentioned above by 31st March 2011 for all members of the contingent of their respective countries. Players may also pay individually with prior consent of their national federation. The entry fee shall be remitted to “Fédération Française de Carrom” through bank transfer as per details given as under:

RULES

The Euro Cup will be conducted in accordance with the 'Laws of Carrom' as adopted by the International Carrom Federation and as per Regulations & Guidelines and Format of the European Carrom Confederation.

REFEREEING

The Refereeing will be in English. Matches will be supervised by the International and National Grade Umpires (both local and foreign).
The decision of the referees shall be final on the laws of Carrom. The decision of the Chief Referee shall be final and binding on both the parties on the matter not covered in the Laws of Carrom.

PARTICIPATION / ENTRY

Each Federation/Association may enter 20 players in the tournament. However, more players may be accepted subject to a maximum of 120 players for the tournament. The host nation reserves the right to register more players as by ECC agreement.
The Championship Committee, reserves the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason but with the approval of the ECC.

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

Entries shall be submitted on Entry Form sent along with the Prospectus. Entry Form duly filled shall be returned together with requisite entry fee on or before 31st March 2011 to Tournament Secretary: Mouraly VENOU, (email: venoumouraly@yahoo.fr ), otherwise the entry may be disqualified. All forms should be signed by the President/Secretary of the nominating Federation/Association with their office seal affixed.

CANCELLATIONS

As the hotel requires full payment in advance, in case of cancellation of entries we are sorry to have to apply the following penalties: 1 month before the 1st day of the tournament, 50% of the fee amount of the entries will be kept. Between the 14th day and the day of the tournament, the full fee amount of the entries will be kept.

MATCH SCHEDULE

The 15th Carrom Euro Cup 2011 will start on 24th of June 2011 with Doubles event. The Swiss League Singles event of the tournament will take place on 25th and 26th of June.
The first session starts at daily and matches are expected to be concluded by about    daily.
However, the Organizing/tournament Committee reserves the right to alter/change/amend the schedule of the proposed days and time of play.

HOSPITALITY

Hospitality will be provided to all the participants, officials and friends are listed on official Entry Forms from on 23rd of June to on 27th June at the HOTEL LE VERT GALANT.
Breakfast in Hotel, lunch will be held near the Playing Hall Gymnasium, while the dinners will be held in different restaurants. The hotel has large bright rooms with 2 to 3 beds. TV, sheets and towels and daily cleaning.
 
There is free internet access; participants wishing to stay for extra nights before and/or after the tournament should contact the hotel directly.

TRANSPORT

Everyone is expected to make their own arrangements for arrival and departure. The hotel is located on the North East of Paris near the Airport
“Roissy Charles de Gaulle”. It is easily reachable by public transport from the airport.


TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

A meeting of the Technical Committee (includes members of the ECC) will be held at on 23rd of June at the venue and on subsequent occasions during the tournament, if required.

PROTEST

All protests shall be submitted as per provisions of the 'Laws of Carrom', along with scrutiny fee of € 50.     
If the protest is upheld, the match shall continue from the particular board in which the protest was lodged and scrutiny fee refunded. In case the protest is overruled, the result already obtained shall stand and the scrutiny fee forfeited.

EQUIPMENT

Carrom Art   Synco Tournament Boards and Synco signature coins will be used.
